Ok. So Howard Dean has accused McCain’s campaign team of being run by lobbyists. What’s wrong with this statement? Well, it could sound a little like saying that McCain’s campaign is run by “bad” Jews (neocons and the Israel lobby). At least that is how it sounds to me.
But regardless of any possible anti-semitism, let’s look at the comment itself. He is accusing McCain (not very subtly) of being corrupt and in the pocket of special interest groups, the “corporations” and the wicked Israel lobby (ok, he didn’t mention the world wide zionist conspiracy, but that’s in the language code). So on the one hand we have McCain (“corrupt! evil! used by the corporations!) and “lightworker” Obama, who has NO lobbyists working or involved with his campaign – yeah right.
